The food is absolutely exquisite! Celebrated my sixth year anniversary at this establishment, which happened to also be the very first restaurant my boyfriend took me to when we met. Hasn't changed! Beautiful scenery and a peaceful/comfortable atmosphere. Not too bright, not too dark & the workers are extremely professional and friendly. It is accessible to all and it's the perfect place for a romantic evening, treating oneself to a meal, or in my case...an anniversary! (GET THE DUCK FAT FRIES!) My only little irk is that the crab cakes aren't a good size for the price. So if you love crab and pick that dish just be aware it isn't a hefty size. But still, delicious.

This is a national festival, we are very happy to dine here, the environment is very good, the taste of the dishes is still online, but because there are too many guests, many details will be overlooked, such as the steak did not wait, and there is a table of people We didn't have a meal together. The waiter worked very hard and kept running at high speed. Thank you! We went from entering the restaurant to finishing our meal as fast as 3 hours because the wait was as fast as 2 hours! There is not enough parking space here, you need to park next door!

We came to the Ruddy Duck while in town visiting family so we could have a belated anniversary date.. We had a most incredible experience...our server David was attentive and pleasant without being over bearing...his menu recommendations were on point! The crab dip is stellar...my husband and I got what was on special...he got the crab cake burger with duck fat fries and I got the steak frites...everything was cooked perfectly! The duck fat fries beat out the well known ones from our current home town, and the steak was melt in your mouth...the mushroom peppercorn sauce was to DIE for... I was so thrilled that Chef agreed to sell me a small container of just the sauce to take home. My husband is going to regret that he brought me, because now we are going to have to go back every time we come back to visit family...10 stars out of 5!

I am from Massachusetts, where there are many waterfront restaurants. This is my favorite, though. The last time I was there, we had a private party, and everyone was so impressed. Fresh oysters from nearby, the BEST crab cakes, and delicious fish make the food 5 stars. I’ve always had great service. If you hit it right, the sunsets are spectacular!

This is a nice hidden gem! Beautiful water views on BOTH sides of the restaurant! Despite being pretty packed on a sunday afternoon, the servers were hustlin! The beers were cold, the pretzels and chicken jerk bowl were great! We will definitely be back to this Ruddy Duck!

View from the bar was great. Sat at the bar as there was some confusion with our reservations. The place was absolutely bangin' for a Thursday evening. The food was absolutely awesome, beer and drinks were great, and the bartender was absolutely a legend. Will definitely return next time I am down this way on vacation

Ruddy Duck's wasn't a planned stop; however I am so glad we did! The food was delicious and the service was great! We were there for the Sunday seafood brunch, which was buffet style with cocktails and omelets! We didn't indulge in the cocktails but the buffet and omelets was worth it!

I found this place on a motorcycle ride from Annapolis last year and can say I regret it took me 8 months to come try it. The views and atmosphere were wonderful. We had a a great server but I unfortunately didn’t remember her name so I could acknowledge her on her. The salad dressings, cocktail sauce, tartar sauce and Aïoli that we had were all made in house alone with the Key Lime Cheesecake. Our server mentioned they were known for their crabcakes and wow I can see why. These are actually made like you’d expect your crabcake to be made. Duck fat fries are a must! Our entrées were very good and I peeped the table next to us and theirs look delicious also. I wouldn’t hesitate to order anything on the menu. In fact we were already discussing our next trip back to try more of the food. If you just want to sit at the bar, the bar top itself faces the water with great views. A lot of IPA’s that they brew locally at thier sister location.
